Amaryllis belladonna or belladonna-lily is South African wildflower in the lily family. All parts of the A. belladonna plant are toxic and contain several different alkaloids, such as lycorine, pancracine and amaryllidine. The bulbs more toxic. The poisonous of Amaryllis belladonna is more pronounced in pets than it is in people.
