Moroz (from the Ukrainian "frost") - is the personification of the winter, cold, and night in Ukrainian folklore. He was described as a tall white man with long hair, sometimes with a beard and mustache. Usually, it was food, but there are legends that Frost loved young, innocent girls. If a girl's body was found covered in ice the morning after the Winter Solstice, the winter would be warm.
